Shadow Automation Ltd. ("Shadow Automation," "we," "us"), an Ohio limited liability company, provides AI-driven automation services to businesses. This policy describes what information we collect through this website, shadowautomation.ai, and how we use it. It does not cover data shared with us as part of an active client engagement — that data is governed by the Master Service Agreement for that engagement, described further below.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically through analytics.

Information you provide. When you use the contact form on this site, you may share your name, company name, email address, phone number, business type, and any details about what you'd like automated. This form does not submit to a server or a third-party form service — it opens your own email client with that information pre-filled, and we only receive it if and when you send that email yourself.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — things like which pages are viewed, how visitors found the site, and general device, browser, and approximate location information. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We don't use this data to identify you personally, and we don't combine it with the information you submit through the contact form.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar local storage: one to remember whether you've accepted or declined cookies on this site, and — if you accept — the cookies Google Analytics sets to distinguish visitors and sessions. If you decline, Google Analytics cookies are not set. You can also opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or block cookies through your browser's own settings. Google's own use of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

How we use it

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your inquiry and, if you engage us, to scope and deliver automation work. We use Google Analytics data solely to understand and improve how this website is used. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the analytics described above.

Data retention

Since the contact form sends directly from your email client, we don't retain a copy of it anywhere except in our own inbox, for as long as we keep any other business email. Analytics data is retained according to the settings on our Google Analytics account, consistent with Google's standard retention practices.

Data from client engagements

Any business data shared with us as part of an active automation engagement — including data an automation processes on a client's behalf — is governed by the Master Service Agreement (MSA) signed for that engagement, not by this website privacy policy.

Children's privacy

This site and our services are intended for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
